About
The longer version
I grew up just outside São Paulo, Brazil, playing soccer from the time I could walk. I came to the US in 2010 on a soccer scholarship after my father passed away — it was the push I needed to take a chance on something new.
I transferred a few times before graduating at Milligan University in East Tennessee, then spent nearly a decade building products at Indeed — Austin TX, Dublin Ireland, São Paulo Brazil, Seattle WA. Got laid off in 2023, one of those moments that clarifies what you actually want. Went to Housecall Pro, spent three years deep in AI from the ground up, and I'm now Staff PM for AI at Practice Better.
I live in Central Florida with my wife Julia and our three boys — Henry (10) and twins Ben and Leo (5). After school drop-off most mornings I'm in the garage gym. Weekends are soccer, travel whenever we can make it happen, and finding the best hole-in-the-wall restaurant in whatever city we land in.
I'm obsessed with being a present dad — not just nearby, actually there. Teaching the boys how money works early, showing them how to build things, taking them somewhere new every chance I get. And genuinely obsessed with understanding why people do what they do — turns out that's useful whether you're building AI or raising three boys.

Beyond the work
Obsessed with how people think
I build AI products for a living, but what drives me is understanding the humans on the other side of them. Psychology, decision-making, behavior change, how societies form and fall apart — I find this stuff as compelling as any technical problem.
It also makes me better at the work. You can't build AI that people trust and actually use without understanding how people think, decide, and change.
